Great little restaurant and craft type store all in one. We enjoyed the lunch buffet which was quite expansive and quite good. There is a salad bar section and a hot bar side with a separate dessert section. All the hot food and desserts were good, did not have much of the salad section, but it looked fresh. The service was good and friendly, quickly refilling drinks and removing used plates.

What a fun little stop with yummy food and an artisan village next to it. I balked at first when I saw 21 for the chicken dinner, but then I realized that included the unlimited salad bar, soup, and dessert! Service was fast and friendly, and the decor reminded me of the kinds of homey restaurants I went to as a kid.

We had passed here many times and it was very crowded. Today, it wasn't bust. We are so glad we stopped. My wife got the Ruben and homemade chips. Her and the waitress, Diane, called it the Good Lord sandwich. I had the buffet and didn't leave hungry. I loved the German veggies soup. The desserts were homemade and very tasty. We look forward to our next visit.

Have passed this on many occasions and have finally had the opportunity to stop in here - not only once, but twice over a two day period. The food and service were excellent. We had to come back. For lunch I had the cheeseburger. It was made with fresh ground beef, and it was delicious. Also had a side of coleslaw, which was fantastic. Homemade chips were crunchy and hit the spot. It was so good. I had it the second time I came again. I also had the blackberry cobbler, which was excellent! Also great pricing on the menu. Great service from Rebecca and the rest of the team working here. We brought a large group of nine people on the second time and they quickly and easily accommodated us. Food was out quickly, and it was hot and delicious. There is also a gift shop in the lobby, but I did not go there. Several people in the group went inside and said it was fun to walk around. Give yourself extra time as you will want to walk around in the Spruce Forest Artisan Village. These artisans are really talented. So stop by have a great meal, great service and do a little shopping to support your artisans.

Thus is a wonderful place. The food, atmosphere, and service are all top-notch. If you are in the area, it's the place to be. I had the Ruben sandwich. I think it's on their homemade bread. Awesome sandwich. Tender and juice. Their chips are thick, light, and crispy

The entire experience was ., from the time you walk in and are greeted. You don't get fish chowder unless you're in the bay ....but go figure. The hostess was very friendly and knowledgeable. The waitress was cheerful and bubbly. Rusticly comforting. Order the lunch soup and salad bar. Sampled everything on it and everything was excellent. They have these 2 salad dressings, Red House and White House that everyone should try. Everything just makes you feel layer back and at ease. Food excellent. Can't wait to go back.

This place was absolutely marvelous to stop at. The vibration from going into this place was one of the most welcoming of any restaurant I think I've ever been at. The food was terrific, my reuben sandwich was delivered quickly and food was terrific. They have a really nice buffet and had a reasonable price there are five different dining areas so there's always playing space. I just can't say enough good things about this place, I absolutely go here!!

Comfy and picturesque spot to pull over, grab a bite and stretch your legs a bit. Love the pretzels and buckeye peanut butter chocolate things. Nice craft shop and restaurant as well. Right next door to the Spruce Forest Artisan Village and the Casselman River Bridge for a nice walk.
